I am looking for the aluminum light weight Oar Saddle for my Pro Pioneer. The manufacturer is out untill spring. Any one have a pair they want to sell??

soar in flat water / good tracking?

I am thinking about buying an inflatable canoe.

I want to go with it alone or with my family (two adults two kids).
We will use it mostly in flat water (small rivers, bigger wider rivers with more wind)

We wont use it in white water very often (because of the lack of white water in the north of Germany (in Europe) and because we havent white water experience and wont drown the kids

We might also use it in Coastal Areas (with more wind and a few waves)

Anyway my boat should be of high quality and should give us the feeling of security.

What is your experience of soar boats in flat water?

How does it track in Flat water?
Will wind Blow the boat away because of its flat bottom and the big side tubes?

I am looking forward to your answers?

Like new Canyon inflatable canoe, only been on 3 trips and worked great.
Only sign of wear is at seat connections, but normal. Added features: 6 D-rings (for easy cargo net tie down). Comes with: 2 padded back seats, 1 Sawyer breakdown paddle and 2 standard paddles.
Located in South Puget Sound area, but will be travelling to Portland area in Nov/Dec. if that helps. Asking $1700.00.

Burst an i-beam How do i fix it?

I figure my pressure release valve stopped working on my floor and I burst an i-beam in the floor. I've only had my boat a few months and now this! Any ideas on how I fix it or get it fixed? Thanks!

Piggyback SOARs in Reno

We visited Fearless Chuck in June and got our first experience with class I and II rapids. It was great to have Chuck there; he was a great help in getting us oriented to the Truckee River, and he showed us how to navigate the SOAR on whitewater. Thanks Chuck, we had a great time! You Rock!
