My inflation valve for the floor is leaking.  I cleaned it.  Still leaking.  The replacement valve I have is the newer model #690NSBV and won't screw all the way into the old base which is from the model #690BV which I understand is no longer available.
So I guess I need to get the old base out and replace it.   How do you get the old base out of the hole in the floor?   Just force it through?
thanks,  will

I haven't gotten any advice yet on how to change the entire floor valve.  I'm afraid of damaging the floor if I just try to force the bottom of the valve through the hole and then force the new style valve back into the hole.
So, for now I just took a valve apart on the bow dodger compartment and traded top parts of the valve with the leaky floor valve.  I don't care that much if the bow dodger goes flat every day but it is a pain to have to pump up the floor all the time.
